Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out.
We understand you have been experiencing crashing and freezing in Destiny 2. Having reviewed the provided link, we noticed GPU Mux Support reports an unknown error. This may indicate a BIOS setting issue or driver conflict, indicating you may need to update your drivers.
If updating your drivers doesn't address this, and you're experiencing these issues on Steam, then the troubleshooting at the end of our Destiny 2 Steam Guide may help to prevent further issues.

Thanks for the response. I had taken your advice to start looking into possible out of date drivers to find I was missing a bunch of motherboard drivers according to Asus Armoury Crate, and the Nvidia app says that I am up to date for the GPU. After installing those using Asus Armoury crate, I found that I ran into more issues because it caused a number of blue screens, and it doesn't seem to improve my performance in Destiny 2. I have done all of the troubleshooting at the end of the steam guide that you linked, and it doesn't seem to help either.

Hello again, Thank you for the detailed response. We understand that after some updates, you're encountering blue screens and still experiencing performance issues with Destiny 2. This does seem strange to us. Fortunately, we have some other troubleshooting options you can try which may hopefully help. First, we suggest the following: 1. Launching Windows in Safe Mode and attempting to launch into D2. 2. Perform a clean boot. 3. If you continue to encounter issues, open Windows Command and use "CHKDSK" to scan your PC for any errors. Please let us know if these steps have any impact on these issues, as well as what you may learn from using CHKDSK. We'll then review.

After selecting that I want Advanced Startup in Windows, I'm able to reach the recovery menu where you can select to restore from a System Restore point or full reset, and I can select that I want to do the Advanced Startup. After doing that though, the machine fails to load properly, hard crashes, and then Windows loads like nothing happened. I can't find a log on that though. How do you do a clean boot vs safe mode in Windows 11? Is that also in the Advanced Startup menu? ChkDsk /scan is not finding any bad sectors on any of my drives though. I have reached out to the vendor to get some insight on this also.

Hey there, Thanks for your follow-up. The following guide should clarify how you can perform a clean boot. If you continue to encounter issues, then please let us know what your vendor says with regards to your inquiry, as well as what impact the clean boot seemed to have.

Just an update. After speaking with the vendor, the recommendation was to not use Asus Armoury Crate as the application can be... buggy. I have since gone and searched for drivers manually and had no issues installing those as well as updating the bios through manual search. I have since been able to play Destiny 2 with no problems as well as no crashes. Moral of the story: just don't use Armoury Crate. Thanks for your help. I'm going to keep testing and make sure I don't run into any other issues.
