Don’t worry about it, it’s a pve game… I never understand why y’all don’t play games made for PvP

I wouldn’t call it just a pve game when PvP was part of it since the beginning and even lean more into it over the years.

Destiny 2 has very fun PVP modes, and not many games are comparable.

It’s a pve game…. Almost every game designed around PvP is a better experience…. Specially those without controller support

Most "pvp" games are casual at heart and have sbmm. Plus a game isn't a "pve" game if it has pvp, its a hybrid at that point.

Proper Fps games aren’t casual and the big fps games are built around the competitive scene… you think a casual lvl4 cares that part of a cs map was made marginally wider???

Cs has a well established 20+ years of competitive play, csgo and cs2 were built around the pro scene… overwatch was built around pro play….maybe you should stick to destiny lol

R6 has ranked but it's still sbmm. Same for overwatch and I'm pretty sure cod has something similar as well.

Overwatch isn’t sbmm there’s not a gm rank for bronze level players…. People get hard stuck in silver gold or plat and think the game is against them….

People also get stuck in silver in R6 and silver in this game... doesn't mean there aren't gms/champs/ascendants that are actually silver at heart.

I don’t know anything about r6 but looking on the google it seems to match you based on rank which is determined by mmr… i would doubt you would have bad players getting to high ranks…

Well, you're familiar with overwatch aren't you? I'm not sure what ranked system they use now, but at ow2 launch didn't they have like hidden skill that you matched based off of? When you'd have gm players playing other gms in like gold. Same way it works in this game. That's also how siege works. You have a "rank" based on mmr, but it's all pretend

I’ve not played overwatch for years but when I last played the ranked was ok …. Matches felt ok… u can for example watch a gold game and know it’s gold…

It's not like that anymore really. Most games are moving towards this sbmm version of ranked, where you end up mixing some of the best players in the game with pretty average players.

Yeah they do. But all of them are made casual at base and then the devs make a good COMP playlist for others that take it seriously. Problem is what we have now is not a rank based mode, its a thrown together "sbmm light" mode.
