Not to mention, with a fraction of the playerbase it used to be, they should be focusing solely on solo content, minus Raids. Outside of that, every single activity should have matchmaking.
Its just the correct way to go when its been f*cked up so bad.

They abandoned solo players who are casual and like matchmade non mic activities.

i asked a lot of people who played thats 4-5k hrs+ and quit that game. everybody said the same thing. There are too many weapons, too little content, and the solo crap is just depressing. On top of that, you always have to be meta with your loadout. Bungie has dug a huge grave.

I started on Playstation, then spent years on Steam, and was able to get an Xbone, and that's where I'm currently at. Steam alone, I think was like 3000 or 4000 hours. I'd agree with those people. If the majority of weapons were useful it would be fine, but we don't need 98% of them, because they seem largely ineffective. The only real good weapons are Dungeons, some Nightfalls, Raids, and special events. Beyond that, eh. Then they took away crafting. Horrible idea. Solo, I won't even attempt because its ridiculous to invest that amount of time into any single activity. I definitely ran a few Master Ops solo, and it really is depressing.

What time investment? The longest solo flawless is ghost because of the dum traversal and thats like an hour and 45 minutes, most solo flaws are 40ish minutes thats not a lot of time investment if you truly want to do solo stuff.

Most of this game is soloable and you don't need any meta set up for most of it either, the only thing that might require some meta loudouts to do it efficiently is the high endgame content, which I don't think it's unreasonable at all to need to be properly geared for the hardest content in the game.

Anything that takes more than a miniscule amount of effort is asking to much of most of these people. Thats the problem with the participation trophy mindset.
