This is what got me into Dauntless and Warframe. I ended up grinding both by myself in the end. Save friend time for party games, in my opinion.
People will always look to get something out of another, doesn’t have to be loot. The friendlier crowd is shrinking with every update

I'm going to miss Dauntless. I haven't played regularly in a while, but I popped in for a look at the update. Right before they announced the shutdown. That's understandable about the upset. I'll miss it.

It’s what I played over monster Hunter. I heard it wasn’t doing so well a bit ago. I completed the base game then stopped when Fortune and Glory came out. I’ll see what how far I can get before end day

I started with Dauntless, then was debating getting into MH. Decided MH wasn't what I wanted. Dauntless had great "chill out in patrol" and if you wanted challenges, you could run Heroic Escalations, Trials, and Gauntlet. If you didn't have a fair number of reforges, it may be more frustrating than worth it to drop back in. All your gear is gone. They've given "credit" based on your reforges you can use for new gear. If you do drop back in, enjoy the nostalgia!
