It's not overturned it's been push up to 11+ in later rounds 10,11,12,13 you blink ya get melted.. they don't want players getting decent loot from the last chest if you did not rinse it over the last couple of weeks you're stuck I'm afraid.. until next rotation. It's their hamster wheel logic. They keep this up and yet another mode will become a ghost town 🥃👎👎

  • I mean, compared to taken, it is. Half because there aren't any weapons that can trivialize several encounters like Microcosm against Subjugators, the other half, and I haven't played against lucent hive in COB so it's an assumption, there's still the poorly designed encounters. Like matching the runes to damage the boss, but they spend half that fight behind cover and you're dealing with knights/ exploding thralls practically spawning inside you. And when that's not it, it's boss encounters that shred you so much faster than others. I personally won't touch COB unless it taken because of bs like that. Bad enough with contradicting modifiers like Bound and Eruptions or the Sharpen modifier not going below the last 20-70% no matter how much you hit it, but hive and lucent hive have it worse because of all the "free" rounds you don't get.

We all remember how the last time the topic was about overload champs being mega overtuned the harder the difficulty is selected we were proven right (iykyk), wonder if they ever DID tune down champions in master lost sectors or not

    I'm all for damage modifiers & encounters scaling but this is just Ludacris. Even with bolt charge and crit damage the numbers are so low subpar 80k on ( Stroms-keep titan)you're just tickling the bosses then empath creeps in makes you a damage sponge.. runes plate is put you right in the firestorm. So insta melt if you stand their On alphalupi stroms build behind really barricade I survived 11 rounds from ads before I got downed on 1st round at 2035 power 🤦 All of this so Bungie can elongate content. Nar it's lazy & unimaginative all to mask poor design. CoB is now one long GM with increasing difficulty with point scoring chucked in without decent loot or rewards for sed high score. We have been on this train since post forsaken. It has not gotten any better and I've a nasty feeling their gonna cap bounties even further to clip teams/player that prep for day one DLC. If they pull that I'm out after a decade. To me their personally no point grinding all season just to be able to run endgame content because of a BS forced cap.
