If there’s no new weapons to craft, why so many Harmonizers?
I’m confused why there are so many Deepsight Harmonizers in the season pass if there is nothing new to craft? I used to cherish those, but now there pretty much pointless. Please add seasonal crafting or replace them with something useful.

I want the bow on Salvation’s Edge raid so I will probably burn mine on the bow

1 ReplyThere's really not that many in the pass. I wouldn't waste a harmonizer on a seasonal craftable weapon, they were easy to obtain. Raid weapons is what they're best used on.

As someone who joined in during The Final Shape, and is still trying to build up an unstoppable arsenal, it’s almost impossible for me to do so. So many weapons from previous seasons are tied to one weekly exotic mission, that comes around once every 5-6 weeks and has a bunch of weapons that drop from it. For example, it took me 2 cycles to get all my Ikelos SMG boarders and that was because I used 3 harmonizers. I can’t even get the CALUS mini-tool to drop barely at all since it competes with 6 or so other weapons for a chance of it to drop. I have a few in my vault for whenever I can get more harmonizes, but between almost not being able to actually chase these older weapons and there being too many to actually ever get crafted, I think we need more harmonizers. Hell, I’d even pay $2-$5 for a harmonizer because at this rate, I won’t be able to craft the CALUS mini-tool for another 6 months and that’s not even the only weapon I want to craft.

Counter point: There's [i]not enough[/i] Harmonizers for the amount of weapons we need to use them on. I have tons of weapons that still need 3+ Harmonizers to unlock. (I do realize I've played at points when virtually every season was active, but not enough to unlock all the patterns... and Neomuna sucks.)

I agree and the weapons I haven’t unlocked crafting for are the ones I give zero sh!ts about. Guessing the same for you despite all the trolls thinking they made a good point by crowing about your unlocks.

I don't know, mine are maxed and I can't claim the ones off the season pass, I'll probably delete mine.

To make it easier to catch up on past deepsights you still need for your collection. Especially raid weapons after the raid has lost popularity.

Raid weapons are the best use of them in my opinion

Burn em on a hard raid or to use on a weapon’s encounter you’d hate to grind

? You have 40 of the 177 craftable weapons unlocked. You could use them on the other 137 weapons that you don't have unlocked.

Raid weapons and old seasonal craftable weapons. Just because they didn't do craftable weapons for the recent stuff in the game doesn't mean that they won't return at some point or continue to make new raid weapons craftable.

Well considered that Banshee is currently selling at least one gun you have yet to unlock, maybe use some of these Harmonizers to finish its pattern. Then there is the current weapon from Wellspring that you can use some to finish unlocking. Then there are few Pale Heart weapons you can go farm so that you can use some to finish unlocking. How about the raid weapons - could always dive into any of the raids to get any of the weapons so that you can use them. See where I'm going at here? Honestly I feel that introduction of Harmonizers was a mistake on Bungie's part and only hasten the demise of crafting as it gave people a means to fast track to being able to craft.

Just looked at your pattern progress & you have quite a bit of things the harmonizers can be used on.

Because there's still people who haven't crafted all the ones that were craftable... Seems pretty obvious.

Bungie said no more crafting other than raid weapons. D2 team want Leveling weapons instead.
