Honestly I have always wondered why Bungie doesn't use weapon models from D1 when making new guns for D2,I like some of the D1 models.They could even take some of the weapons from D1 and put them in D2 but with a new name,element and perks too.

True. Personally I honestly don't see much difference between a new weapon and a reprised D1 weapon that has a new damage type/element and new perks, Like for example The Treads upon stars scout rifle(which is kenetic) in D1 being added to D2 as a strand scout rifle with new perks compared to a new strand scout rifle with the same perks and fire rate. I'm all for completely new weapons but would love to see more D1 weapons added to D2 with different damage types and perks( or at least the weapon models).
