As someone who just finished the comp grind most comp players are toxic and have insanely inflated egos relative to how good they actually are. If you lose a game just queue again who cares, some games you will play against stacks or cheaters, get lobby balanced out of competition, or just get out matched. It took me ~50 matches to get from 10 to 15k, in the grand scheme of how long there is left in the season that's nothing. If you deserve it you'll get it. If this was a serious PvP game I would have a different attitude but this is the last game you should ever care about.
