I just completed Unrealize for Barrow-Dyad. Literally not fun in the slightest. Between the endlessly spawning, hyper-accurate mooks with just as problematic death effects (Psions launching homing death blasts, shielded Acolytes becoming dogs, and Thralls leaving mines), the jumping "puzzle" with annoying ambushes and -blam!- you traps, and the bosses with mechanics you have to do while the hyper-accurate mooks and boss shoot at you, it was yet another tedious experience in Destiny 2's list of tedious experiences. Between the three exotic quests I've done in the Episodes arc of Destiny 2, Unrealize was easily the worst because again, Bungie doesn't know or doesn't care how to make encounters that actually challenge the players. It just gets frustrating to die again and again and again in ways that feel cheap and unearned.

 • Bungie's idea of RNG is to make it worse than even a Gacha game. Pretty sure even dungeon/raid exotics with max drop rate increases from those trash triumphs boost it to maybe the same as a 5 star drop of 1.5%. If it takes more than 80 runs for people to get them like quite a few people have experienced, then I guess it's actually lower. Goes to show they just want you on that hamster wheel.

 • Initial drop rate is 2% so you aren’t far off. My understanding is that your first clear on a character each week has the boosted drop rates. 2% X the amount of non farmable clears = drop chance But it goes back to 2% on a farmable clear. 50 unique clears is the max it could take to get the raid exotics. Don’t get me wrong, Bungie loves the hamster wheel. The “shiny” and adept weapon drops this season prove that. They are quite rare even with Bungie claiming to boost the drop rates.

 • Even then, a 2% drop chance?!? That is beyond terrible. Nothing should have that low of a drop change. To go with that, instead of them making long, tedious activities that no one wants to play again after getting their God rolls and exotics from, just make the activities actually fun. If they would have just focused on fun instead of tedious BS to inflate play time numbers, maybe they wouldn't have had a player count lower than even Curse of Osiris. Well, that as well as actually fixing harmful bugs, not focusing exclusively on Eververse, and balancing the game to where we aren't at constant disadvantage on top of nerfs that make us weaker.
