It'd be really great if you guys could make every open world instance soloable like the pale heart but optional.

Edited by ⓇⒺⒹ•ⓈⒽⒾⒻⓉ: 4/11/2025 6:15:55 PMI see you play on xbox. There's a way of doing so (legit way) but it makes your game instance completely non matchmaking untill you restart the game. You need a second account for this method. And here's how you do it: 1. You log into you second account. 2. Start an activity (could be anything, even the first mission) 3. Change account by going to the settings menu within Destiny 2. 4. Log in to your main account. And your done! matchmaking has been removed. To enable matchmaking, you need to simply restart the game. Example: I used this method whenever i feel like completing bounties in strikes. (Did it back in the day when bounty prepping was still a thing)

1 ReplyMaybe you should go try a single player campaign game, no one is ever with you in those, only enemies.

On PlayStation you alter your clock a hour ahead or behind or something. On Xbox you turn off crossplay in the consoles settings.

3 RepliesHave you tried setting your console clock ahead? Works fine on PSN but I see you are on XB and a quick google suggests it is possible and I saw a suggestion to set the date to 2030. I often "Timeslip" to get bounties done without interference in open world or in strikes without messing anyone else about. I use solo Altars of Sorrow to test and get a feel for new builds, works a treat.

2 RepliesI can go into pretty much any world patrol and rarely find anyone. So yes they are solo.

Seems like a waste of server space

Why do you need patrol spaces to be solo instance?
