PVP is near its worst state.. no lobby balance... ability spam.. horrible matches.. fix it Bungo.

I get matched with idiots cause I have a 2kd and I’m matching against prime frostbolt and sir d, I literally cannot carry if I am being given the worst players ever so I just don’t play trials or comp

2 RepliesI agree. But it’s mainly due to special ammo economy, crying babies, and Bungie’s duty to pacify them. Special ammo meter worked.

1 ReplyGenuine worst meta in years, I’ve actually never had such a boring and unfun time playing PvP. Across the board everything just feels worse than it did in past metas and the ability spam teamshotting is ridiculous. Also having one special ammo per life is insanely unfun and should be reverted asap.

7 RepliesNo. I think it's problem now are users of 3rd party software and hardware that allows for inhuman bot like gameplay. Guardian Games proved that Hunters are overtuned; especially in the Void department. Titans also have some overly oppressive melee abilities. Warlocks showed that this group needs a lot of love from fragment balancing to powered melee attacks that are beyond weak and a rather non existent synergy between weapons and abilities between exotics. We also have a decent issue with net limiting that is heavily present in pvp. I would last argue that Redrix is still way to strong.

I think its gotten even worse since posting this.. considering a break now until they balance hunters/exotics.. and yes ability spam... and holy crap that lobby balance is ridiculous. -
It's getting progressively worse. I'm losing almost every game. The other team is always better. Say I suck then my intelligent argument is then it's more reason to give me players on my team better than me. Last night I played 5 hours and only won 4 games. Is getting worse and worse. I don't try and win I try to go fur kd. Now. It's unacceptable.

4 RepliesWhile I'll agree in crucible it is right now more wreck or be wrecked than balanced, ability spam is not happening. It's not COD. Alot of people like the abilities to offset the good shooters( basically the ones with the modded controllers)

2 RepliesI honestly think that Bungie doesn’t want people to have win streaks. Its either stomp or be stomped, which is killing PVP as a whole. The skill gap in Destiny 2 is just too unforgiving. I normally play solo 6’s and there are games where I honestly feel bad because I know I pissed off somebody who just wanted to play a casual game of control. But as soon as I enter 3’s i’m the guy getting wrecked more often than not. I’ve noticed that PVP as a whole has gotten really, really sweaty and I think its because of a lack of casual players who have gone elsewhere to game. I honestly think once Marathon drops Destiny 2 is going to die off relatively fast because it seems like Bungie just doesn’t care about Destiny 2 anymore.

Nerf pulses we need something Bungie okay Nerf 120s they kill to fast Bungie okay Nerf autos they take no skill Bungie okay ……. Bungie so nerf glaives or not 🤬 Regardless of the meat people will still cry. They will say weapon type is broken, too friendly to use , boring or takes no skill. My question is if it takes no skill , it’s broken and is too friendly to use then why not use it? And if you’re having trouble fighting back with the same weapon it sounds like a skill issue. And before anyone says anything 99% of people that are complaining are hypocrites when they have used graviton, Elsies, RDM, zealots , last word , bolt charge barricade ect.

Ability and special ammo isn’t the issue. A lot of it connection. CBMM is superior. I get matched with Asia player all the time when I’m west coast NA. It’s very annoying

I agree, they just can't get it right. Ability spam, especially in 6x6 is unbearable. Broken matchmaking all the time, especially in Trials. Trials is the pinnacle of cheating rather than the pinnacle of skills.
