i am truly sorry for saying this, but for those that find this game hard. play another game. this game is to easy imo, its the learning curve or the will to learn with lfgs thats the problem.
People demand stuff handed to them for free, thats not how this game works.
imo make the game harder.

Tedious =/= hard. Most of the "challenge" in this game comes from bullshit encounter design with bullet-spongey bug guys aggressively chasing you out of whatever little cover you're able to find in the too-small battle area into the 20 or so slightly-less bullet-spongey mooks with near-perfect aim that melt you in .3 seconds after stepping out of cover.

Not being good or even decent at slanting doesn’t make it tedious.

I am truly sorry for saying this, but maybe it's you that should find a harder game to play. Congrats if you are in the top skill level, but this is the very reason why Bungie have turned most of the content into a frustrating never ending slog fest instead of creating challenging content that has an element of fun. If players complain that it's too easy, why do they continue to play it?
-
trust me, i do. ive gone from 12hours a day to barely anything. but that is becus of many reasons. game is a bug party, bungies bs,boring content, game dosent feel rewarding. game feels abandoned
-
Well I think a lot of people would agree with those reasons dude.

Your experience doesn't mean it's the same for other people.

Edited by CORPERATE COMMANDER: 4/9/2025 12:37:55 PMYep that's why clear numbers for anything endgame in d2 has less clear percentages than something like eldenring that hasn't even been out aslong as d2 ,truthfully the players that find endgame easy need to move on an let the game grow since it's the top % and bungie holding this game back always has been hence the low numbers and need for sherpas and tutorials in an ancient game It's almost like the top% forgot what the game was like before things like trials and gms were introduced years ago here is a hint it was fun and streamers could do endgame solo wearing all blues which isn't the case anymore they have to crutch on the meta nowadays to solo endgame. I even asked salta why he doesn't do solo runs anymore using all blues/white weapons ,and the reply was its not worth the time effort or reward (this is one of bungies very top players)

i totaly understand his mindset,i feel the same to. reason i barely play anymore. also mostly just becus all the bs going on,so many other games out there worth playing. But people need to think about this,if marathon dont fail, destiny will be more dead than ever.
