I do think we will get Taken powers in some form that exists outside of the Episode. We’ve leant far too much into the notion of controlling this power for it not to be the case but I’m not convinced it will come in the shape of a subclass.

For what it's worth, Taken is a form of necromancy, created by a class that wields that ability. MMOs have that class/subclass so I can see it being a subclass in destiny but it would first be super broken, followed by a lot changes. a lot of heavy tuning, like cooldowns, damage output, etc. But I can definitely see it.
