My hope is that we get the exotic swords back. Which are canonically forged from will breaker shards.
Huge huge missed opportunity of Bungie dosent do this.

Raze Lighter uppercut is on all base adaptive frames, Dark Drinker is Falling Guillotine and Bolt Caster is now caster frames. I think those swords should come back meaningfully and have follow up chain attacks to their [misappropriated] attacks. Raze Lighter getting a follow consecration-style slam attack after the upper cut. Bolt Caster getting a special function where you can empower the damage and duration of the disc by briefly guarding to trigger a massive explosion. Dark Drinker being able to continue spinning for a bit if you hold the heavy attack button and doing so will release a Volatile and weakening burst. And each would get intrinsic subclass AoE affects on kills.

Combine them into 1 single sword that has chain reaction and swaps elements/frames like hard light. Chain reaction prevents it from being too op via subclass verbs but still a good choice for ad clear and being a sword is decent for higher enemies as well.

Raze lighter should cause an ignition on a heavy attack. Bolt caster should grant bolt charge on a heavy attack and allow for weapon discharge of bolt charge. Dark drinker should grant devour on a kill maybe??? Idk about that one exactly.

Feel like it has to tie into the name better as opposed to just slapping a subclass verb onto things.
