cuz slot machines on slot machines on slot machines extends grind for zero extra content it's just what the 'player blob' will endure without too many quitting, i.e. what metrics manipulations can we inflict for higher cash shop revenue without losing so many players that cash shop revenue goes down

Edited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 4/9/2025 7:53:29 PMThis game has always kind of been like that but when they get especially stingy, like they are now, it just makes me not want to play. It feels like their idea of fun is 85% chase/15% actually using the loot you wanted.

Because they fear you won’t play the game as much chasing loot. They fear if you get what you want to quick you would stop playing the activities. Hell not even seeing what I want makes me want to stop playing period.

I’m sure that’s how they rationalize it but there’s a cost to this strategy, i.e. losing players and having those that remain grow more and more jaded.
