Just spent the better part of 5 hours trying to get founts zone to trigger and then also have the rune switch... Still no rune switch unfortunately. The RNG, on-top of RNG, on-top of RNG just for a catalyst is mind numbing and incredibly off putting. Actually getting to the point I'm just going to give up on it.

I'll be on tomorrow. Lemme know if u want me to just open the portal for you so u can skip all of that. Took me several hours today to get that some founts encounter.

Cheers appreciate it. Ended up spending a further 3hrs+ farming the nether to get it done. Then sat around for 3hrs after so that others could use the portal.
