The last 2 catalysts exposed a fundamental flaw in the Nether's design.

A flaw is a misinterpretation, bungo did it intentionally. They need players wasting time trying to luck out on rng based locations to then get rng based secrets. To anyone who is trying to get to the hull breach, look up esoterricks video on oob to the hull breach, as long as you get hall of souls (lol more rng because bungo can't just give us a bloody option on where to land then rng on the following encounters). Bungo will probably end up patching it to make you waste your time more.

Or just... load in and out of the nether until you get it. It's a 20% chance to pull the right location. It's not that deep bro.
-
If we have to do that just to get an area, no thanks, that's just making my mobile games look more entertaining and I'm barely playing in my phone nowadays
-
REALLY 37 times and counting how much is bungle paying you
-
Bright dust and a few engrams (non pinnacle I might add)🤣😆🤣
-
37 who and what now? Care to clarify your accusation?
-
I thought it was self explanatory, I tell you what read your other comment then read mine take a moment and see if you can work it out
-
Are you complaining that a 20% chance is a 20 percent chance and not an increasing chance based off the previous regions you loaded into?
-
I’m pointing out ridiculous statements people make that are totally unhelpful and bare no reality to the steaming pile destiny is
-
You have a 1 in 5 chance to start at the new area. That's a 20% chance as 1/5 is .2 and / or 20% with 5 × 20% being 100%. This means you have a 20% chance to load into that new zone that doesn't increase on repeat attempts. If you can't find the zone using a 60% (covering 3/5 zones) chance, that takes possibly 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete (full nether run). You can utilize that 20% starting chance to roll the zone you need. I don't recall saying any of this is good and / or bad. This is simply the truth. You can not like the truth, but to say someone is a bootlicker for what I hope is very simple math makes you look disagreeable.

I think bungle must be paying you by the letter
-
I wish. Unfortunately, bungie doesn't pay me anything, or else I would play the game more than I do now. That and they would also have to pay me for the times I -blam!- on them and their decisions. It's just hard to find that on here because many people I do engage with (not you) are practically brain dead and use ludicrous reasoning to explain simple scenarios.
-
Except it doesn't work like that. Who are you? Lol. Coming out of the woodwork. "Flaw" is apt. It easy to say it was intentional, because we can play it. What you imply is that malice or greed informs that intent. Burnout doesn't lead to more playtime. I gave then direct feedback for increasing playtime, like put all the seasonal weapon drops in the Sunless Cell. Add some extra carrots to Prophecy for RotN: a Xenophage & Wishender catalyst. There ARE legitimate concerns about the last 2 catalysts... and it does expose a fundamental flaw in the Nether's design. You? Just hyperbolic negativity, sry. 😇👍💠
