"The Control Node"? The thing that I posted in the picture above, is that what you're talking about?
I've had to quit mid-match before, and I've never seen it turn green.
I play every night. I play 4 matches and then go take a 5-10 minute break, come back and play 4 more. When I do, I back out after looking at my stats at the end of the match. When coming back to load back into a lobby, about 75% of the time, that first match back is a match in progress.
I don't know about the whole "green node" thing, I think they just use players that are returning to fill-in dropout spots, whether they've dropped out mid-match, or after a match.
You're going to have to post a picture of that node being green. I'm having a hard time buying that. 🤣

yes but by the green I mean either green <launch> or red <cannot access other activities at this time> for example >> to quit mid-match by taking a different match in the same mode.. instead of leaving to the tower or orbit to get out. does that make sense? Its sometimes allows you to launch mid-game.. sometimes not. Basically every-time I have taken the Control launch to get out.. it is a horrible match (a 4 stack minimum or in-progress.. its very consistent) -
Oh, I see. I didn't even know you could do that. I just thought it was automatic that you can't "join" anything while you're in a match in progress.
