Just adds weight to the theory that they're actively trying to kill the numbers so Sony drop the game & they can concentrate on marathon.

That's been said in private discords that the feeling is it's marathon or bust, discords with people who know things. That ex community manager said a few weeks ago that it's disgusting how bungie wanted lightfall to fail & end the franchise.
