Just jump on top of those anchors looking things and shoot down until it dies.
I find the strand subjugator way more annoying. Stage is way smaller and you have to deal with more enemies.

I stay up in the hallway from the tormentor mini-boss room. You can plink the bats, other yellow bars, the grim and their exploders from up there, even when the subjugator is immune. With the narrow hallway, you can stand back a bit to get the bats and exploders before they get you. Then, you can move forward to get the subjugator once most everything is cleared.

I just stand behind the left rock near where your jump down into the arena… you and dip out and kill all the enemies and bait out the super shots. Rarely die there solo… tormentor is way more annoying

That's where i usually stand but for some unknown reason the last few runs he ran all the way back there.

I just stay under the platform for the subjugator fight. You can head glitch it from the left or right where the stairs are. The fight is way simpler, for me, and nowhere near as lengthy, especially when you use Microcosm.
