It's even worse knowing Bungie acknowledged how much the community hates this map in the TWAB. They know full well what they are doing. Making a gaming experience so miserable no one wants to play it.

But I'm wondering why. Why this map? This is the same map that they have kept trying to push on us in 6's as well. They keep changing the weighting in its favor. Why? What is it about this map that they feel this way?

It almost feels like they are in denial about how bad it is.

But the interesting thing is that they knew how bad we feel it is based on how they worded the twid. They knew the community would be up in arms. Yeah, they could be in denial thinking it is a really good map and the community just doesn't know what they are talking about. And think about how they teed up the reveal as a huge exciting deal days before the twid. They were excited to announce this. It's very weird. And dmg even tweeted asking for feedback. Very weird.

But the reason they are doing this is to see if by changing spawns up they can make disjunction into a more playable map. They probably put a good bit of time and effort into making it and right now it's not playable anywhere. They are gonna want to salvage the work they put into it. Find ways to make it more tolerable to the community at large.

When I heard them say that they were changing the spawns up, I was like OK we might be on to something here. Let's give this a chance. Then I played and they barely changed them. I was even questioning if they changed them at all. How they are, how does that change anything on this map? In regards to the community stuff. I don't disagree that the community gets things wrong. But we aren't talking about weapon or class balance here that will always be a heated debate. We are talking about a map that 99.9% of the comments about it are that it is hated. In this instance Bungie has to be smarter. The work they put into it, those resources are already spent. If it still isn't good enough then you are just hurting your product by featuring it. And to spend more resources to make changes is a waste. The only time they should revisit this failed map in terms of spending resources on it is if they rework it instead of creating a new map. But even then, that really is too much of a risk of wasting resources on a highly potential failure.

They also ended the TWAB with "We usually use this space to say how much we love our community ..." , speaks volumes.

They also ended it by rounding out issues that have been in the game for months now. So the PvP and PvE teams share the same amount of sentiment towards the players.
