Pinnacle drops are a joke
I'm sure this has been brought up millions of times, but just one more so I can get this off my chest.
Ok, so I get that its suppose to be hard to get the last 10 levels. But Bungie seriously needs to do something about the pinnacle drops and how the armor or weapon is chosen. My highest piece is the arms. Last 2 pinnacle drops were arms. WTF?!? I've put in a bit of time to get those pinnacles just to result in no progress. Again, WTF?!?
I'm done with this game blah blah blah. Yea, I'll say it, but I also know I'll probably keep grinding again. But its enough to make me stop playing for a long while. I'd like to feel like I'm making progress after spending hours trying to get those dang pinnacle drops, only to have them be useless once I get them.
And why can't Bungie add in an algorithm to drop a pinnacle piece for the lowest weapon or armor on the character? At least ignore the highest piece. RNG is fine for other parts of the game, but I think its pretty reasonable to be rewarded for the time you put into the game by at least progressing the character higher the more you play ... even if the last 10 levels are slower going.

Got to 2020 quite easy It easier that it used to be with your power level being all classes the only annoying part is when you get 2020 drops and they are the wrong ones Maybe a xp system would be better might be more grind but you don’t your not wasting your time doing an activity to get a pinnacle that doesn’t boost your level

Because RNG padding to make people endlessly grind for "play time" and "content". I've been saying countless times that RNG for power progression is never a good thing

6 RepliesWhy even care about levels at this point? Every activity in the game either disables them or caps you up to 25 below the enemy anyway, and fireteam boosters will bring you up to 5 below the highest player anyway. So long as players don't actually benefit from leveling, the incentive to level up is null.

3 RepliesEasier with three characters. Now it is shared power level. Playing one character can get there too. But you need to get every source of pinnacle loot. Statistically you will get there. The more you engage with all chances increases odds. Good luck. Further more remember it is a game. Have fun and play it how you want. I choose to engage with it with parts that make me happy to play.
