Guardian Games Matchmaking is trash
I will not be participating in future Guardian Games if you don't remove the requirement for PvP participation in order for me to guild my title. Or fix the matchmaking.
This season I'm forced to try and get 30 points in a supremacy match. Matchmaking has seen to it that my team consists of 6 players, including myself with an average combat efficiency below 1.0 while the opposition teams enjoy an average efficiency of over 10.0.
If my team is going to be stacked with poor players like myself we should be matched against other poor players like ourselves not against people who are ascendent in trials. When every match is called on the mercy rule at 100-30 I have no hope of scoring the required 30 points and cannot hope to guild my title so there's no point in playing Guardian Games.
Or you can fix the matchmaking to pit players of similar ability or inability against each other.
The sad thing is that I did once make the 30 points but it didn't register.

The team that has the lower efficiency always loses. Duh. The way to see if teams are unbalanced is to look at AVERAGES. Was that a single bad game for your team? Or were the teams truly unbalanced? It would not surprise me if the teams were unbalanced, because Guardian Games cannot have Lobby Balancing AND organize teams by Class at the same time.

It's searching again. This company and franchise are an absolute clown show. Time it took to find a game ?? .. Because I timed it .. 5 minutes and 12 seconds. And it's Disjunction. FML.

1 ReplyI'm going to say out loud that the number 30 referenced in that triumph is incorrect. It's either 50 or 60 or anywhere in between. I also got 30 points early in the event and that didn't register for the triumph. And I don't think it's about delayed registration either.

1 ReplyI can confirm. This is crap. My last match, their efficiency ranged between 4.0 and 22.0, while the highest efficiency on our team was only 0.29. No one on their team died more than once. This is the most unbalanced meta in Destiny history.

Secondly, I think you've misunderstood the assignment. The 30 points just comes from collecting crests - they can be any crests, your team or the opposing team, and it doesn't need to be in a single match, it's cumulative. You can technically do it in 5-6 straight matches even if your team loses every single one and you die more than you kill as long as you either tag along with somebody who keeps getting killed or with somebody on a bit of a streak, just as long as you pick up the crests. I bit the bullet once I knew they'd changed the requirement (you were previously able to avoid PvP and get the title), wandered in with a straight 1 K/D, and wandered out on a 0.7 90 minutes later having completed it and knowing that I won't have to engage the crappy PvP in this game ever again...

Play another mode or game entirely. I have and it's liberating.

It’s CBMM not comp or trials SBMM. It’s class based and people tend to run together in these modes. You do not have to play this as it’s just a PARTY mode. - Titan main.
