Court of Blades augments really should be looked at.

So many are either buggy, poorly thought out, or the combinations contradict each other in a way that just makes an already unrewarding activity, especially against hive, feel even more so. Sharpen. I can't tell you how often I've seen the protection not drop below 20%. Ignitions. When combined with Bound, it gets really annoying when they're placed in spots that push you away from where you need to be. As if the boss being able to OHK you wasn't already a significant problem by the time Ignitions would truly be a hindrance on top of the other hindrance. Ritual. Why design an augment that prevents you from damaging the boss while not in the circle, but the circle either has enemies, especially the suicide bombers, practically spawning with you in a death grip? And when that's not the problem, the fact several circles, whether it's bad location or AI intelligence, are placed in spots you can't damage the boss. Bulwark. More than a few times has the goblin not spawned or died from your team so quickly after spawning that you can't even find the Essentia. Just why? Bad enough players aren't rewarded much better if at all on platinum runs compared to bronze runs, but this is just unnecessary. We're almost in act 3 and rewards have not been addressed for COB or Nether, nor have these issues been addressed. Under normal circumstances, 10 minutes is plenty of time with a good team, I've had one where we consistently had 2-3 minutes left on expert, but these bugs and contradictions can easily screw up an entire round.

Stand on the platform to do damage. Boss goes behind cover.

      • I was stuck at 2/7 for the challenge for awhile. Then all of a sudden, hit 7/7 on my next run it seemed. I guess the other players engaged with the mechanic, because I did not know WTF was going on with augments.

      • CoB is a poorly designed activity with too much sweat grindiness to it, rewards are bad haven't seen a single shiny unlike the other act 1 guns you get from Nether as those were rare but dropped from chests so you could speedrun those and get loot raining lol CoB is a long activity that only gives basic versions of the act 2 guns with bad perks Might just keep the curated triumphs rolls instead and not bother with hoping a shiny smg drops

      • I still don’t have a clue about some of them. Trying to read the description and choose what I before going back to the circle. And then what’s up with the statues on the left and right near the 3 circles. Am I supposed to do something???

        You don’t even have to pay attention to the augments. I don’t know why people care for them so much. But I have noticed a few times when someone does the augment to use a sword to break the boss’ armor, the boss is either immune to it (no miasma) or they take damage but the armor isn’t going away

        • So I'm not the only one? I had never paid attention to them because of how it's typically easier to just burn down the boss and not care about the rest. Then they added the season challenge so I figured I'd go out of my way to complete some. Dude, that challenge bar did not move at the rate of what you'd expect from what was shown on my screen - meaning that something was either bugged or how we interpret completition on the screen is really off. I'm definitely not excluding the latter, because of how often Bungie fails to convey things in a clear manner. I put it on the backburner, focused on just running the activity for the sake of knocking out the title related challenges instead - such as using runes and whatnot - and eventually got there for the season challenge too. It took way longer than it should have though so i still dont know if it simply doesnt count sometimes or if we're too stupid to understand that there's another step to it.

        • It should eventually unlock by default because some of them are required to progress the actual encounter. In there longer than I needed to be but finished that challenge
