🤔 I mean I'd rather miss Shanghai than Suzuka, COTA, Monza, or Silverstone. No offense to the Chinese. And I'd take it over Paul Ricard. But I'm just not a fan of the track.

  • Way better than every street circuit and particulary Monte Carlo. They need to either reduce the car sizes by 50 % or let that GP die. But they wont of course - because of the "history".

  • That one’s fair. You can’t just disappear for 4 years and then come back and expect everyone to love you the same. Or maybe that wasn’t the point you were getting at.

Now I'm confused. Was that remark about you or Paul Ricard because shanghai was on the calendar for 2024?

  • No, I mean Shanghai. Because it disappeared from 2019 to 2024. Not that I still don’t love the track, it’s just that in that interval, several other tracks have popped up that I genuinely enjoy. Jeddah being an excellent example.

  • I heard. This would make Liam’s RB run the shortest, correct?

At redbull, probably. It's not the shortest stint in history but 2 races is getting real close. I can't help but wonder what would happen if Lawson had more time to develop with redbull. Yuki had some trouble when he first came into Formula, and the RB's are allegedly extremely pointy. Lawson being a cleaner slate to be molded... he might have less to un-learn in order to be able to better adapt to the car. But RB want results. Either way, going to be interesting to watch I think. I hope not, but Yuki might be in trouble.
