25% isn't that much. I swear ya'll b it ch and complain with every weapon in the game. No other game community be asking for nerfs all the time. A gun should be allowed to be great, good, powerful etc. This game is horrible about making literally any gun stand out from one another all because of you guys.

Edited by Wynd: 3/22/2025 5:17:19 PMProblem is this guns only that good on one class using one exotic which enables that one class to have effective hip fire and no one else has that. You might ask why is hip fire so good and important? It helps to keep every controller kid from being glued to your head via aim assist :)

Every other game with balance changes somewhat often has people constantly asking for nerfs...
-
Fortnite, Valorant, Overwatch, The Finals, Call of Duty all don't have anywhere near the amount of players getting guns nerfed to the ground so your comment is invalid
-
Let's get this out of the way, No one wants the guns nerfed into the ground, they want them balanced. Regardless, as an overwatch and apex player, people absolutely ask for nerfs in those games... Every time i see a clip on of overwatch, there are countless comments about how that character is broken... Same with apex. I can't speak for personally for Valorant, but my friends who play it with me in the call complain about specific characters all the time. Just recently one of the newer characters got nerfed for being too strong, and guess who complained about him,... From my understanding, COD doesn't receive balance patches all that often, i could be wrong though, but if im not, that takes it out of the zone of my original comment. Either way, it's a competitive FPS, it's going to have people complaining and asking for nerfs. I know nothing about The Finals so i'm not going to comment on it. At the end of the day, none of those games, except fortnite, get anywhere near the amount of new stuff that we get in destiny. It's hard for them to keep up with all the balance changes, and that's not going to change, but the nerfs/buffs are still needed. It's absolutely wild that people like you don't get that.
-
To add, I think weapons do need buffed or nerfed. Just not right after releasing like they do every single time
-
That would be good, if they didn't completely destroy the meta then I would agree
-
But they don't. I use a not even God roll stay frosty pulse 80% of my games and do fine. At some point all guns feel the same and there's no difference.
-
That's great and all, but you barely use stay frosty, and you are playing in the type of lobbies where meta doesn't really matter...
-
Bro's literally using redric on main lmao and le mon on another which is comparatively more broken and yet no one has said a word surprisingly
-
The le monarque is on my PvE build for titan, why would anyone need/want to comment on that. As for the redrix, I beg you, please go into ascendent 0 comp lobbies with anything else. There are very few things that work in those lobbies, and redrix is the one that works the most often. I'm sure you can use whatever you want in your gold lobbies, and that's great for you! Regardless, i can still complain about a weapon being broken while also using it!
-
But it's not broken.. it still takes 2 or 3 critical bursts to kill someone. Have you not used a semi automatic rifle or burst in cod? Time to kill in destiny has always been a joke.
-
Comparing d2 and cod is like comparing apples to oranges. They don't have the same gunplay, ALL ttks in d2 are slower than in cod, which makes weapons that are more consistent better. D2 isn't just about fast reaction times like COD is, it's about hitting consistent shots.
-
But yeah no this game isn't even a true competitor, you want to talk about gunplay when this game has massive aim assist and hit registration issues and desync on not only guns but the melees which is exactly why there's no esport. But that's another topic
-
I agree that it's still fundamentally a more casual gameplay experience. That doesn't mean that it can't get competitive. We have high aim assist and low recoil, yet people are still bad, funny that. Good destiny players tend to be able to go to other FPS and still do good, so it obviously isn't that far removed.
-
A first person shooter could only be so different than another so yeah doing good at a different one isn't really much to write home about. And destiny has been always been a glorified fps tbh. Not much of a looter shooter when people only use one armor set their whole life until this incoming update and the same exotic guns or meta weapons 💁♂️
-
It's an FPS looter shooter... That's what kind of game it is, it isn't either of them exclusively and no one ever thought it was. FPS absolutely can, and do, feel completely different from eachother, the only thing they have in common is that you are shooting in first person. The gameplays, feel, game type can be completely different. That's like saying a board game can only be so different from eachother... Chess is completely different from monopoly, requiring different skills. Yet they are both board games!
-
You're getting tilted aye? Tell me. If this is a true looter shooter, when is the last time you equipped new armor that wasn't transmog? Oh right. If you already have 2 or 3 tier 100s, you will AS OF RIGHT NOW not ever have to swap your actual armor. So while you're getting it for transmog, that doesn't equate to a true looter shooter. But you know what is?? Borderlands. The Dividion. This is just an fps mixed with superpower abilities which also is why pvp will never ever get actual competitive tourneys :)
-
Yeah exactly. So if someone hits 3 consecutive critical shots you should die. You're making me even more correct lmao.
-
Yet that's what I primarily use in trials so..my most used pvp primaries are stay frosty, outbreak, and the summoner. Used to use ammit. But it's okay you're in denial.
-
I don't believe new content is an excuse for lack of balance. After all, Bungie cut how much of their staff? I mean let's all be honest, the game never should of went f2p. Content and DLC hasn't been good for a long time.
-
If feels good right? Why you are using it right? Yep because it’s the easiest weapon in the game to use 😂
-
Edited by Meow Fairy: 3/22/2025 5:12:45 AMIts a lot. its among the highest usage recorded on every gun that had to be nerfed. Out of sooooo many guns in the game. We are talking about thousand of guns. 1 of them is responsible of 1/4 of the kills... Last time we had a gun with such a usage was khvostiv at release...the immortal...hell..even the ammit during the craftening. And nobody here can say these werent busted and didnt deserved a nerf. Ik you looove your pulse as its easy to use and good at everything. But its busted just accept it at this point, stats dont lie. D2 players always crutches on the strongest most OP guns. If something is heavily used its unbalanced. Always have been, always will be. You can be delusional as much as you want tough it is your right.
-
Kinda easy to be in the top percentage when the gun is new and a weapon obtained from crucible itself. And I use lots of other weapons so yeahhhh. Whether this gun gets nerfed or not isn't doing anything for me. The game is walking on broken legs with no real upgrowth in population so I'm sure the couple thousand that play trials every week will find another weapon you all ruin :)

A quarter of all recorded kills. Greatest disparity in d2. St*u
