Hello there,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with voice chatting in the game. We recommend reviewing our Audio Guide Help Article for some additional information on how to set this up along with some troubleshooting.
Additionally, there is a setting on the PlayStation 5 that will mute game voice chat. Please ensure that this setting is set to allow you to voice chat in games. You can read more about this by finding the "How to disable game chat audio on a PS5 console" on the linked page.

Thank you for your reply, but I’ve already reviewed the Audio Guide and tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps, including: My PS5 voice chat settings are correctly configured (chat is not muted, audio set to "All Audio", and voice chat is enabled system-wide). I’ve confirmed that there are no parental controls active on my PS5, and I am the only user on this console. My microphone works perfectly in other games — this issue is only happening in Destiny 2. In Destiny 2, I’ve checked voice chat settings and tried resetting everything to default, but the issue remains. Bungie support confirmed that my account is not classified as a child account, so this is not the cause either. Despite all of this, I still can’t hear or speak to players in Destiny 2, and I still receive a message saying I need parental permission to communicate. At this point, I believe the issue is on Bungie’s side — possibly a bug or account-specific problem — and I need real support to investigate further. Can someone escalate this issue or provide a way to fix this? I’m really stuck and would appreciate actual help beyond general guides. Thanks in advance.
