PvP balance (so bad)
Good job with recent pvp patch bungo, inv hunters still everywhere, at leat 3/4 per match in trials. Redrix estoc with an absurd total kills this week in trials of 1,5Mln, 2nd weapon is Tommy gun with 400k kills, another broken gun. Your a complete joke, pvp is a total mess, maybe the lowest point since beyond light.

16 RepliesThis is what clowns like you don’t get… There will always be a meta. On every subclass and weapon archetype. Plain and simple. The best thing is to switch the metas up periodically. (That’s a diff topic tho) The same complaints happened with bolt charge (which was broken) however, invis has already been nerfed half a dozen times. And is in no way broken. When you realize hunters make up almost half of the entire player pvp population, you should be able to recognize they feel “oppressive” because of how many players are on the subclass, not bc it’s actually broken. It’s that simple.

Now last years I've transitioned to a happy pve player. I still try to play some crucible if I'm drinking beer like I am now but i just can't take it seriously anymore. My lifetime kd has dropped almost a full point but I don't care. What does it matter. In 5 years nobody even remembers this game let alone the sweat and anxiety you put onto yourself over something trivial like a videogame. It's just a waste of resources.

1 ReplyJust done a first supremacy match on my Titan (3rd character). Steam-rollered by a team of Hunters 85-6. One player had a KD rate of 30. Just checked their stats, last 50 matches they have a KD rate of 5.06 Bungie, your game is f**king broken!

2 RepliesI get that the meta feels oppressive but if you think this is anywhere NEAR beyond light levels of bad, I'm convinced you didn't play during beyond light. You couldn't turn any single corner without either instantly being frozen or shatterdived, special gl's were entirely too good during that time period and made it so engagements where you could actually see your opponent were rare, and the cheaters, don't even get me started on the cheaters. If you think they're bad now, don't look back on clips of how things were during beyond light. At worst, pvp right now is a disaster. Pvp during beyond light was a wasteland.

Hunters got massively nerfed and they are just being defiant, the real problem is when Bungie will nerf because of them and they intentionally abuse stuff to weaken everyone else and remain at the top. It's a clever strategy that I warned for years would happen and here we are. Why have an ability class when you nerf abilities? Titans and hunters do not need abilities to be a threat. You can nolonger justify hunter nerfs without nerfing everyone else so keep asking for nerfs and watch what happens.

I will say the balancing is pretty horrible. I mainly play 6’s for some reason I excel there and come across as a bonehead in comp. However I do feel like because I am above average in 6’s I tend to be put into teams of solo players and the 2 to 3 stack teams get put together. PvP has also gotten extremely passive so theres that as well. I don’t care about people using meta load outs, it is what it is. Even in comp and trials. At that point you just have to adjust or roll with the meta. As a Titan main I was abusing bolt charge too.

No surprises though . PvP is like gambit now …bungie have detached away and are just barely maintaining. Just finding games seems to be now the challenge and then having a good match is rare very rare . Still seeing the usuals pump 20-30 in a sitting …have no idea how they put up with it ….obviously PvP still has a strong hold on some . Unless Bungie have something up there sleeve PvP won’t have many players in the next few months .

Besides the guns being oppressive, I’m tired of hunters and titans always getting some busted and it being allowed in game for too long. Warlocks never get this sort of treatment, always nerfed or disabled within days. This is just bs that in both terms of pve and pvp, warlocks hardly shine. Need other guns to be viable but they always drop some gun that destroys the sandbox for too long and never balances it

Bungie sometimes goes out of their way to f*ck sh*t up when they feel things are going somewhat smooth in PVP Like the RDM buff which no one asked for just to ruin PVP a bit more

I don't know how many Supremacy matches I played but only two were competitive, many were called and the rest blowouts. I didn't win a match.

Bungie devs are biased hunter and titan mains. The rest are pve bots that can't hit the bright side of a barn which is why they jump for joy and love fuÇkiNG TURRETS. There isn't any moment in time where There isn't an ongoing Titan and Hunter Meta and by the time it's actually addressed they replace it with something on par or even better for Titans and Hunters! But here's another Turret for pveasy!

I played some comp last night, and two of the three games I played started 2 v 3, so I switched to Kill Confirmed (I mean Supremacy), and got mercied three times. That was more than enough for me, I closed Destiny and turned on NHL 25, it has a better story anyways.

Honestly worse than Beyond Light. I gave up this week trying to use unique stuff. That pulse rifle literally is free, and Tommy's is a great counter to the 5/6 laning Randys using Estoc
