2 RepliesHonestly I think the turrets just need a crit spot so none bodyshot weapons can deal with them better. That's like the only change I think is needed in pvp. On the pve side I think it could use some buffs. Though this is more so a stasis issue in general since despite all the buffs stasis doesn't see much use.

Tbh as long as you don’t ape, stasis warlock is pretty meh. Turrets don’t have much health. Just shoot it twice with your handcannon and they die. Cold snaps got a huge nerf to their tracking radius with TFS. They’re no where near consistent anymore. When they work, they’re great at flushing positions. The melee and frostpulse are anti-ape. The super is great but it one of the longer charging ones in the game. Getting it in 3’s is a coin flip even when you’re playing well. It’s not OP, just very annoying to play against when someone knows what they’re doing. Prismatic and Void are both better, and Solar is great until the snap-skate fix.

Stasis is not our most powerful subclass, prismatic is the only reason it's even useful and that's mostly the super and turret being supported by other minions. Nobody is playing mono stasis. Stasis is not worth investing in because it will always get nerfed. I main void and strand because it's alot more damage and easy to spam. Stasis requires too much commitment to be something I main. Was good in beyond light and since the nerf I rarely use it outside pve if I'm not on prismatic.

I play stasis lock occasionally, and am always shocked at how strong it is. That said, I think Titans are the best PvP class overall, followed closely by hunters. For some reason, I hardly encounter stasis locks in the wild, so it hasn’t really been an issue. The key is staying away from corners.

They're not a problem. Coldsnap grenades have a mind of their own and choose not to track towards the person they were thrown at 80% of the time. The 20% when they do decide to track, they hit the person and then don't freeze. The rest of warlock's freeze kit is designed around anti aping. So don't ape?
