Ok but you have strand grapple? I think you’re thinking to much about crutching the ability, rather than understating what that ability is suppose to do and why it was made the way it is.
Now yes I am a Titan main, however I don’t like seeing things get nerfed on either classes, along with weapons.
To me, if something is over powered, let it be overpowered. It was made to be that way.
Smoke bombs are really powerful and very effective if you know how to use it extremely good.
But what about your hunter grapple and then back flip dive to the ground to suspend? That’s an insane ability on the strand hunter class, and a lot of hunters use it extremely well, to the point where you can’t even complain about it.
Warlocks got the frozen rift, again many warlocks use it really good, and yes it is strong because it stops you from playing. There’s nothing wrong with that, that’s what it’s design to do. Can’t complain about it.
Titans we got barricades and shoulder charges, again extremely effective if you can use it well.
I don’t see the point in complaining about any ability in the game when the whole idea of PVP is adapt, overcome and conquer?
I’m not a good PvP player but I’ve played for years to know and understand why I suck in PvP and what I need to work on to get better.
I’m against all things getting nerfed. Again if something is powerful then let it be powerful. Stop complaining about something a demanding a nerf when you should be using that time how to play against it.
The only time an ability, super or weapon should be nerfed is when it performs the way developers did not intend for it to perform like that. Point blank simple.
I would argue that demanding nerfs because you can’t play against it and can’t stay composed on a game online, ultimately ruins the game for everybody else.
Just because YOU are having problems fighting against it, doesn’t mean everyone else is.
Let things be powerful if it was developed to be that way when it first came out.

Edited by Killapete232: 3/12/2025 8:27:28 AMYou do realize that hunters had 2 smoke grenade variations originally right? So Bungie removed a smoke grenade variation to make up for that loss they made it intended to do what it's was doing. So you see the developers did intended for it to be this way, due to the community crying over hunters smokes they said screw it and nerfed it so the community can move on to cry about the next new old meta that's been abused since the dawn of destiny 🤣🍻

Khepris Horn shipped with the ability to travel outwards and back, was that way for YEARS. Why did they rework to remove its ORIGINAL behavior.

Edited by Guardian: 3/12/2025 5:13:58 AMPeople complain about how things work against them and prevent them from executing a play. That’s what PVP is. Adapt, overcome and conquer. When RDMs got released for hunters, I didn’t complain about them having infinite dodge while gaining super energy to spam super. I did everything in my ability to contend against it. In the end it got nerfed because people complain.
-
Edited by SCRFY N3RF HRDR: 3/12/2025 5:14:43 AMwho complained? Are you a dev? I’m talking about Khepris Horn here, I don’t care about anything else
-
I’m talking about the hunter complaining about his smoke bombs being nerfed and letting him know to stop complaining. He’s got grapple and suspend dive. I’m talking about everybody complaining about powerful things and them getting nerfed. I’m talking to YOU about kephris horn and me not having a problem with it. I’ll buy you another 6 shots and 6 for myself. Then after that, I’m going to to go into PvP guardian games and open up a can of whoop a**ss on these warlocks and hunters.
-
I’m in a glass box of emotion when it comes to Khepris, I just wanna know why. WHY DID BUNGIE CUT OFF MY LEGS.
-
Everybody complained. If something is powerful leave it alone. Plain and simple. If it performs the way it’s not intended to perform then fix it, rework it, nerf it. That’s when it’s just. Do yourself a favour, pour a cup of whiskey, coffee, water or you favourite soda. Sit down, relax and enjoy the game.

Edited by SCRFY N3RF HRDR: 3/12/2025 5:20:22 AMSo you’re telling me, Bungie was content with its behavior for YEARS, and suddenly they make it worse across the board. I’ve never even mentioned its weird character model collision mechanics in pve. Also WHO complained, be specific. I know you’re more complex than “deal with it” Are you a dev? I don’t consume food or water, I just watch Khepris Horn clips for sustenance.
-
You’re interpreting my responses wrong. You think I’m having a go at you. That’s not the case. You seem really affected about what I’m saying, this is a mutual conversation. If my messages p***s you off, it’s cause I’m bold and blunt that’s just the way I type. Back to your question about horns. All us titan mains didn’t have a problem with it. I think we are talking about two different scenarios here. You talking about when it’ll come back and kill you? I’m talking about when it use to insta cap zones.
-
I know about its ability to hard cap a Zone in Iron banner I while ago. They hard patched that and accidentally removed its ability to damage on the return portion of the wave. They reverted that change such that it damaged and all was swell. UNTIL THIS SEASON THEY GO AND CHANGE IT FOR NOW REASON.

Bungie should ignore everybody demanding things to be nerfed when they don’t need to be nerfed. Leave them the way they are. This is not call of duty. This is not marvel rivals. This is not paladins. This is not overwatch. This is destiny. And destiny has its own PvP. It is just that we suffer. WE have ruined the game. Because someone complained about getting a lollipop with the wrapper still on it, and then demanded the wrapper to be removed before they receive it. Come on people.

Explain the Khepris Horn nerf to me, I’m vulnerable
-
It was developed to perform that way, was it not? If it wasn’t developed to perform that way, why did they wait years to fix it? That’s not our problem. That’s their problem. Yes, it was extremely powerful, ok so what? If the developers intended it to perform that way then leave it alone. If it was not intended to perform that way then has nothing to do with the player, and everything to do with the development. There’s nothing hard to understand here. If you popped kephris on a zone and it insta capped it, that has nothing to do with the ability, or player. And everything to do with the development of the game mode?
