Up the damage and make it one knife that you throw, I feel like this would solve 2 problems with one fix.
For PvP players this super feels a bit too strong but due to cooldown nerf after cooldown nerf I feel like it’s not the best pick anymore. People don’t seem to be cool with 3 teleporting thundercrashes, just turn it into 1.
For PvE players this super is worthless outside of zoetic lockset in sundered doctrine. It takes far too long to cast yet does the same damage as thundercrash, it’s far worse for addclear than other supers on both prismatic and arc, it has virtually no DR.
Honestly if you just made it one off I feel like this would solve every problem people have with it. Right now it’s structured the same way as moebius quiver, a DPS super, but ONLY with PvP in mind. We saw how that turned out and it got pretty hefty nerfs. Just make it a PvE super. It feels super lame that if I wanna take advantage of bolt charge on prismatic I either gotta use a weapon or one of the worst PvE supers in the game. Also, it does NOT count as a roaming super meaning it still takes far longer to get in PvE.
Up the damage of the precision hit with the knife and it’ll be different enough from gathering storm to fill a different niche. Instant damage up close vs damage over time + jolt from afar.
Is this not a win-win for both game modes?
I like blinking from area to area.
They should make the knife teleport a melee ability.

Edited by Pazsy: 3/6/2025 4:50:07 PMHonestly a knife teleport melee would go so hard with something like ascension. Teleport in, ascension, teleport to a different location, ascension, teleport again. This with flow state would be a LOT of fun.

As for the super, maybe bake in some sort of extra passive or perk into it to incentivize using it. Like how chaos reach can cancel. What if multi kills gave you more charges for the super or if you charged up each knife throw individually, like how holding multiple grenades or melee abilities work. Like imagine if your super meter was segmented into 3 parts and you could pop one and hold on to the others until you decide to use them. It needs some sort of gimmick to make it worth while imo.
