the narrative thread of SIVA was followed up with Lightfall, it also paid off the foreshadowing made by our Ghost's comment all the way back to 2017 about potential contact made between SIVA and the Vex.
In Lightfall, we found a city that was created using the nanotech and was made into an even more advanced version of itself, Quicksilver. This was made possible by combining siva and vex tech, which makes sense seeing as how siva was inspired by vex.
I get that siva looks cool, but the story is closed - and Quicksilver is a far more powerful version of the tech anyway

Edited by Tha Akimbo: 3/3/2025 12:33:47 AMOh, those are fair points, I have to play through light fall again (I've only completed that story on one of my characters so far) I appreciate your input, maybe my idea could at the very least be used as inspiration for different storylines outside of SIVA. Do you have any thoughts on this? For example, I would love to see Failsafe implemented into more quests in the future, do you think that could be a potential positive thing? Again, I appreciate any input I receive on this post, so thank you!

Personally I’m more interested in new stuff, so I’m much more interested in expanding on the Dread faction. I hope that Xivu is made to stand apart from her siblings. When it comes to older stuff, my primary interest is if Bungie could bring it back out of the Vault Stuff like leviathan raids and the older campaigns being removed but not brought back in some playable form is inexcusable. Especially after the developers announced that they are not going to be vaulting any more expansions going forward.

My apologies, hopefully they are easier to read now. Also, I do agree that it is inexcusable how Bungie removed content we PAID for and essentially left us with a game we can't play. (The first year or two of content) Bungie should at the very least give all of us who PAID for the content that was REMOVED a refund if they refuse to bring back those campaigns and expansions.

The leviathan raid was such a good raid, I'm still sad the only piece of armor I don't have on my Titan are the arms, and I'd have to agree that as much as I do love the older content, it is important to bring new things to experience before ever going back to older content, as playing against the same enemies and similar type of missions/mechanics in the game in general can get boring and is in need of fresh content with new experiences. If I had to choose something from the older content exclusively from Destiny 2, I'd probably bring back either the leviathan raid or the menagerie, those and the black armory forges were fun for me. Destiny 1, I just hope they keep the servers up and running so veterans like ourselves as well as new players can go back and play through that content over there from time to time if/when we want to. How was the final shape? Please don't put any spoilers as I have not had the chance to play it yet, but I'm curious about your impressions/thoughts on the expansion.
