Any moment now a Bungie “mentor” is gonna reply & say that Bungie is aware of this issue & is “currently working on it” and you can check the website’s “known issues” page to see the status of the progress… this has been the same canned response for like 2 years now. For all the “free” crap they give away from Xur, Rahool, wish tokens, bento tokens, I truly dont understand why they dont make the bow available thru some other means besides the quest which has been broken for several expansions.

In fact, I think there should be more exotics only available through quests. They were some of the more challenging, and fun areas of the game.

I agree & am critical of all the “free crap” as I put it… but this person is not “whinging” cuz they’re lazy & just wants free crap… this is something that Bungie fudged up when they changed the way the quest works & now people are glitched & unable to complete it… I did earn all the weapons you mentioned, and tried to help guide people thru the wishender quest recently, but its not the same as when I did it however many years ago. People are actively getting screwed out of the “challenging & fun areas of the game” that u mentioned. If there was ever good reason to give away a weapon, I’d say that a bug caused by Bungie’s own incompetence qualifies… NOT like making people grind for 3 weeks of “Into the light” to get a superblack shader that was just given away for free at the next Halloween event. That was some BS.
