why cant i focus the rose from shaxx? it tells me to complete my placement matches but they have been done

I had this issue last season, I could only focus rose and none of the other comp weapons. This season it fixed for me and I can focus all the comp weapons. It is a known issue, and I have no idea what bungie is doing about it. I do know they are aware of it though.
