15 RepliesBungie is dead afraid of making good Arc weapons after they made Indebted Kindness. Psychopomp is the proof of that, it could've been so good with Jolting Feedback, but they decided to make it another useless, uninteresting seasonal weapon instead.

Been farming for a while and have both normal & Adept - the rolls are, at best, "OK" and to be honest for the time investment to get the best perks currently available is a "no win" - given what the hand cannon is, the available perks simply do not support it - disappointing and really does discourage anymore farming for me.

Bungie is notorious for issuing mid perks on notable guns… then dropping cracked perks on random guns. So players will grind for both. One for the fame one for the perks. With the guns we have right now, 0 way Pali was going to be PVE meta. It’s always been a PVP gun. And Bungie just -blam!- all over themselves with Exalted and Rose to bait PVP roll farmers. Pali is essentially useless

1 ReplyFor PvP it looks alright but I already have my Adept Exalted Truth. For PvE... It looks uninteresting imo. Like others have said below, Jolt Feedback and other Arc related perks would've been a welcoming sight.

It has explosive payload which is one of the most important perks for PvE ... paired with Master of Arms or Desperate Measure two bonus damage perks? ... Volt Shot would be useless. Kill reload, to trigger? Jolting Feedback would be nice in an endgame champion stunning perk, it is what it is...

The distinct lack of voltshot/ jolting feedback, among other perks being left out, is a head scratcher for sure. They probably didn't want it being as cracked as it was in the past, still I agree the perk pool could be better.

3 RepliesVoltshot is a big miss, but it does have some value as one of only two primary weapons with Rolling Storm right now - the other is the Scout from Sundered Doctrine, so much more annoying to farm. I think Recycled Energy could be a sleeper pick if it works properly - the current output is so bad that it [i]has[/i] to be bugged, right? It seems worse than Wellspring, which works just on kill. It nothing else, despite the not-great perk selection, it still performs pretty well on feel and stats alone.

The gun actually feels amazing with the minimal perk options it was given. Truly a shame but may have been a little busted with better perks. Guess we’ll never know.
