I may be wrong here, but I thought that Trials utilizes open matchmaking until you [or your teammate(s)] are on a completed passage, and then after that it utilizes performanced based matchmaking.
So if that's accurate, then you and your team can face anyone in the matchmaking pool.
If that's wrong then feel free to roast me. 😅

we are all on some form of a completed card farming a 4 streak for the adepts (the player better than me got flawless yesterday, i got flawless today) but we are consistently all weeked match flawless players with way better stats.

the SBMM on a completed card is a sham lol. I'd just consider it the flawless pool honestly.so think of it more of 'open skill' for anyone farming their completed card. That's been my experience anyways.

yeah i just find it hella wierd/broken when all we match cracked players when the best weekly performance is a 1.3. in our first 15ish matches we match zk and his carry buddy and i was the only one on a 4win streak card, they hadnt even been to the lighthouse yet. id rather have longer que times than these short ques, but terrible matchmaking

If they were doing a carry they would have been in the open sklll pool; so that would mean you just got unlucky . Game tries to put you into SBMM.; can’t find match ap it sets you into open skill CBMM
