Are you sure you didn't pick up Paracausal Payloads? do you have a longer video or clip that shows your boon pick ups?
Paracausal Payloads gives you increased kinetic damage but entirely drains your super on kinetic kill. Your clip lines up with that being active.

Maybe actually, thanks for the clarification. The boon pick up things can be a hair finicky sometimes and I remember seeing it
