I run it and love it. It's awesome in PvE.

  • Would you mind explaining why? I just don’t understand the value of it at all. For Omni I feel vanishing step is a better pairing because it’s consistent and with ability timers it’s not like you’re ever short on invisibility. For gyrfalcons it’s batter to just run stylish and a way to initially proc it. So my question is what makes you want to run it over more consistent options? I just feel like on the prowl is way too jank to be useful.

I kill said target, then when I pass though the smoke left behind, I and any allies get invis, plus it auto marks the next target. The smoke from a defeated target also blinds and weakens enemies who touch it. You can disable and destroy crowds of Ads while being invis 90% of the time.

  • I would agree that it’d be useful for that if you had autonomy for what enemy is targeted. Too many times have I had the target be like a lone flying harpy/grim making it difficult to reenter invisibility and take advantage of the smoke. I’ve also had issues with it targeting foes on the other side of the map or enemies in rooms I’m not even in. I just don’t see why I’d ever pick an aspect that’s so unreliable.

I haven't had that happening yet thankfully. Sometimes it does mark someone's whos... difficult to get. But they stay marked until death, so I can dodge again and get a different option while keeping the first one primed. If a marked target dies in the air, the smoke drops to the ground for easy pass-through though, which is nice. Edit:: And as an Invis Hunter, I can usually go get Mr. Special across the way without much issue, lol.
