That's how low bungie as sunk? Getting thanks for doing their job.

I do my job very well, and am often thanked for it. Is it that strange?
You might need to get better at your job if “thanks” is such a foreign concept 😂

That's how low bungie as sunk? Getting thanks for doing their job.
You call that doing their jobs? Have you no standard at all?!?

Honestly, bungie is a genius for creating such low expectations like this. That way, when they put the tiniest amount of effort into something. It gives people false hope into thinking the game will improve. thus creating the infinite loop that is the Destiny addiction/Relationship.

Edited by STiNKyWizLTeaTs: 2/14/2025 2:22:21 AMThis is actually a real tactic. It is called either "strategic incompetence" or "expectation management". The name will depend on how it is introduced into said service. It involves setting the bar so low and providing awful service so that when the company decides to provide average or decent service, the customers think it is exceptional. I see this ALOT with municipalities like power and water companies.

I thank the lady at the bodega near my house for doing her job, but that's because she's a sweetheart who cuts me deals on chopped cheeses.

I thank my local pastry store simply for existing, not for giving me deals. Same goes for Bungie. Hate them as much as I do, I’ll still thank Bungie for letting a game like this exist. I’ll always keep coming back because there’s no game like Destiny. Even though I hate it at times.
