PvP population suffers because that is a side game to the main PVE game.
When PVE is dog doo; there is no reason for them to stick around for even more mediocre pvp.
Players nowadays don’t want to improve it seems in PvP and rather just quit after consistent losses. Granted in a 10yr old game coming into pvp as a newbie is really rough

Edited by Shiny: 1/13/2025 10:43:29 PMFair points. I will say D2 PvP has made a name for itself among competitive gamers, but yeah, at the end of the say D2 is a PvE game, and the past few years have done nothing but spell that out lol
I will say D2 PvP has made a name for itself among competitive gamers
I don't think anyone treats this game competitively so I'm not sure who you're referring too... Even the folks that playFaceit understand with p2p networking when you have players from across the globe someone has an unfair advantage.

I try my best to play competitively. Surely that counts for something. It is painful to play the Brazilian goats as a uk player though.

I've ran into so many players running into walls that i shoot with no hit reg to turn a round and gun me down or show up 40 meters away in the past 2 weeks. And Im playing a 'populated' zone of central USA.
