Even console, hardware cheaters have plagued the game its entire life. You can only get so good at the game when you’re basically the only one in a lobby not cheating every game

Lol, cheaters are not "in every game" even at high levels EDIT: Well. I guess they could be and I would never know

  • Normally notice it at around adept to ascendant, especially noticeable in 3v3 ascendant 1

  • I'll give you that cheaters inevitably become more common as you go up in skill brackets, but I still think that you're exaggerating the issue. Destiny isn't a game that gives THAT much of an advantage to perfect aim - in fact, it might be the easiest game to beat 3rd party hardware users in. MOST, if not ALL, "good" players land nearly 100% of their headshots (which is the main thing that most 3rd party hardware helps with), so a 3rd party hardware user is not getting anything that can't be won by hard work. The exception to that is movement. M&K on console is a definite advantage for movement. Cheaters probably have an easier time in games like COD, where aim is everything. In Destiny, timing, communication, and game knowledge are just as important as aiming well.

  • I agree. If you watch some of the best legit controller players like Sergio. They hardly ever miss crits even in chaotic situations.

  • Movement, recoil reduction, boost aim assist, even higher sensitivity above the default 20 provided on console, etc. xims are things I regularly suffer through for years in higher end games I’ve played, yes it’s annoying but I can win here and there but at the end of the day any form of hardware cheating is flat out unfair, and these should have been completely banned years ago, especially since Bungie “addressed” them yet has no way to detect any form of hardware cheating

  • Stopped playing console a little over a year ago, only had run into 1 or so back then. Very rare. Sad to see not the case anymore.
