These Weakest Players are carving out their own personal niche of combat. If they want to play like that, who are you to judge them.
Personally, I don’t find it to be that fun of a combat style, so I play a dueling build as opposed to a shutdown + long range build. That being said, I probably die more often than the Long Rangers due to this fact.

Their effectiveness is far higher than their skill. It disrespects those who actually try to learn the game

Their effectiveness is heavily reduced in ranges not favorable to them. They are making a sacrifice. Longer range, for a reduced ability to duel. As it stands, most maps have multiple angles to approach, so if you are smart you should be able to flank and push advantage.

You close the gap and get hit by a lance or a teleporting titan with knockout or a shiver strike melee or a teleporting lightning surge or your teammate gets farmed and the burgers now have radiant. If I wanted to I could get on my void hunter with Elsie’s chap and beat them but I have a shred of self respect.

So punish them for using that crap then. Keep it to a midrange duel so they can’t effectively use said abilities but you still have favorable advantage. They won’t have a lance at the start of the match and if they are keeping range as you do imply they defiantly won’t have a lance unless they are pushing and being aggressive. PvP is about being adaptive and that’s the crux of your issue.

Like I said, it’s boring as hell to play like that. They usually get railed when I put on the cheese though. The burgers love complaining when it’s a mid range meta and they can’t sit in the back with the pulse 😂

So you have an issue of them sitting in the back. I suggest you push. You have an issue with the fact that they can counter that. I suggest you keep mid range then. You have an issue with that because it’s quote “Boring” to play like that, despite the fact that you are still dueling the players. So then push, and just use a loadout that directly counters their ability to counter you. Might I suggest the likes of Grapple Melee with Kehpris sting on Hunter. Pair it with a Sniper and SMG. Or how about your own Lightning Surge build with Necrotic’s Or any number of builds that allow you to clean up a group or get the initial attack off giving you advantage. As it stands, you are refusing to adapt to something that is effective, yet you claim that when you use the cheese “you clap their -blam!-’” You need to give a penny to gain a penny buddy. That how the world works.

Dueling the players ? Lmao, hardly a duel when there are 3 of them hawk tuahing each other and I’m slowed and blinded and weakened and they have radiant. You only get actual duels in this pms with scrimm loadouts so everyone is playing the game the correct way

Ok, so now we are getting at the crux of the issue here You think there is a correct way to play the game. That’s simply not true. Your approach to the game isn’t any more valid than anyone else’s, and vise versa. You think that your way of playing is the only honorable way to play, but I don’t play like you. Does that make me scum? I wouldn’t think so.
