Might i ask, what is the common long range weapon you see on a match to match basis?
Might i ask, what is the common long range weapon you see on a match to match basis?
In my lobbies, several different archetypes of pulse rifles mostly. But not limited to that. 120 HCs, depending on how they are played. The biggest offender is Graviton Lance which has the black hole exotic ability whose "second shot of a burst rips a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff." This is the one I see most. But before that, Bygones with High Ground. Before that Elsie's with Zen/Headseeker Before that Red Death pre-nerf Before that Messenger Jade Rabbit and Box Breathing legendary scouts. There's nothing inherently wrong with long ranged based gameplay. I just believe that it is becoming so prevalent it detracts from what sets Destiny PvP apart from other FPS on the market. Movement in conjunction with powerful abilities to argument extremely satisfying gunplay. It's been replaced with stagnation because that's what's being pushed. I have used pulses, scouts, and 120s each on and off meta and I like them all for various reasons. My issue is not with how the individual weapons are balanced against one another but moreso how that balancing has lead to the remaining population's distribution and how the game plays as a result.

My lobbies are about the same. Though i experience graviton lance, outbreak perfected and a few scout rifles. They've been a bit of a struggle to compete with but i mainly use 120 and 140 hand cannons so if i die I'm at fault. Though i do believe they could use a small adjustment.

I believe most legendary 140s should see a buff so that Rose isn't the only one that feels like it can compete. Some of the exotics here and there. Thorn doesn't work the way it was originally designed after all the changes to resilience and the focus on precision damage. Both of which I supported. The execution of resil changes leaves something to be desired. We shall see what they do with the armor update. The restoration of 120s to 2h1b is a relatively recent update and I think Crimil's is the only one reflecting the change.

They are struggling in this Meta and i would love to see 140s get a bump but the only hand cannon type i have yet to see get any meaningful buffs are 180s. Which are like mini scout rifles but faster fire rate and slow ttk You should try crimils or combined action with adagio. Brings back the two tap meta for 6s

Unfortunately, they have been 3 tapping properly even with max damage within range all precision shots. Deeply frustrating.
