They will never do another Community Event again. The few they tried all were received negatively in some way. And we all know Bungie. Instead of trying to improve on something with potential, it's better just to give up on it.

  • The trouble is that a lot of those decisions end up being made by suits looking at engagement metrics. If the engagement is low, not worth investing in. If it's high, do it over and over again until nobody is interested in it anymore. That's just how live service games are run nowadays.

    I'd rather try to talk about it than give up on the idea. but Bungie is the only one to decide if it rebuilds the D1 tower or not.
