I got all the Armour in less than an hour, which is typical for my accounts RNG.. which goes back to the first iron banner days.. not sure why.. weapons on the other hand.. meh.. I need to grind the whole I.B to get everything.. and then hopefully 1 is a keeper.
I feel like when we first made out Guardians.. we had a RNG baseline assigned.. its different for everyone.. and that baseline is also RNG.. the restnof the RNG just increases your odds..
It makes sence.. in life, some people just have more luck than others, naturally

In D1 this discussion came about because of the Gjallarhorn drop rate. Bungie acknowledged in (early year 3?) that yes each player had a different RNG and within each player certain weapons had different RNG weighting. Unfortunately for me, I was one of the players with an extremely low RNG chance of getting the Gjallarhorn.

Same, I avoided buying from xur in like week 2 or 3? When he sold it.. I didn't get one to drop until last week of prison of elders..
