I just want a wild west season so we can get double barrel shotguns and dual wield revolvers, even if it's exclusively just an exotic.

We already have Conditional Finality, and as we've seen with Dead Man's tale, witherhoard, chaperone etc; Bungie has a history of turning exotics into legendary archetypes.
