The issue with vaulted content, game requires more disc space, and then bungie will struggle EVEN MORE to maintain the game, bigger game means more bugs that means more maintenance. So you sure you want old content back?

Funny that they end up taking more space after vaulting when we should take less since there's less content and other games have more content with less disk space needed, looks like optimization is an alien thing to bungie Or they don't want to optimize because it's over delivering in their eyes

Why is it only Bungie that has those problems? Why WOW, ESO, SWOTR, WARFRAME can have alll the content they ever added, while bungo cant manage to leave campaigns that people paied for in the game? They could make it quite easily by making Year ONE&TWO planets, Locations, Campaigns optional module that only those who want them install + dont give me this crap about Game being too hard to maintain, that excuse became worthless when the game became bigger than it was before sunseting.
-
u have been sleeping under a rock i see, they even said so themselfe, that was the reason they did the sunset (or that was the exuse they come up with). Why get triggered so easy over message. maybe google sunset before u get triggered.

Exactly ! A lot of people forget that there is a small skeleton crew maintaining D2 , lower budget and less resources. All focus is on marathon and other games . D2 had its time ….10 years ! The game isn’t in a great state now so adding is not the solution. There are so many bugs in game now , then with the old old servers the game is crawling along .

Edited by Hippo: 11/20/2024 9:42:49 PMThere's bigger games on console now that end that disk space argument, I'm sorry but there's nothing stopping the vaulted planets coming back other than Bungies resources.

People are the ones who said "Disk space" bungie always said their engine couldn't handle it.
-
Yes there is. Don't be ignorant. The games you're referring to are on newer engines. This game is held together by duct tape adding all that stuff back will increase the file size & cause the game to run worse than it already does at times.
-
and that would be solved by my end statement 'Bungie Resources'.

Why would they spend money on upgrading the engine for such an old game? They are still a business and return of investment is key.
