I always find it funny when people complain about fusions when shotguns always have double or triple the amount of kills.
For example on trials report
Shotguns: 818,529
Fusions: 456,718
And on destiny tracker for instance there is finally a fusion in the top 20 weapons after weeks with no fusion with plug 1 finally coming out And there are 7 shotguns in the top 20.
If fusions were so strong no skill weapons giving free kills the usage would obviously be higher.

By this logic, prismatic titans are perfectly balanced since hunter still has double the usage rate.

I remember when fusions were like 10% of shotgun kills. Now they're coming in at 50% whilst the shotgun numbers are coming down because they're using fusions instead.

Edited by Nova: 11/19/2024 7:42:25 PMThat's just the map in particular, previous weeks have a much wider gap which makes shotguns look even more OP compared to fusions 900k shotgun 330k fusion 1 mill shotgun 400k fusion 1.3mil shotgun 400k fusion 900k shotgun 260k fusion Based on these numbers it's fine if shotguns have some competition. 1 weapon type shouldn't dominate.
