Cannot use text chat once in matchmaking (Console)
When I press the "Launch" button, the small left d-pad icon that says "text chat" disappears, and I can't open it unless I enter the director, then go to someone with their text chat open, and then change it to whatever I need
why?
is this a bug, or just an anti-feature?
if there's someone in my fire team I can change it through them but I still have to press their emblem, then the text chat button, then change who I'm messaging, just why so much needless hassle?

1 ReplyBeen an issue since text chat was added to console, and just like you described, is the only way I’ve been able to get around the issue. Pretty silly that this is still persisting.
