Don't punch everything in the game, and it's very easy to avoid them seeing as how they don't glow their respective colors and also start to glow blue the closer you get to them.
Don't punch everything in the game, and it's very easy to avoid them seeing as how they don't glow their respective colors and also start to glow blue the closer you get to them.
Titans have several buffs and builds tied to punching. When you have distance from them, no one is arguing about that. So you’re solution is to ignore a staple of a class and say it’s fine: You’re part of the problem.

I'm part of the problem for knowing how to build a class differently from punch all that exist? Sounds to me you just don't know how to play any way other than titan must punch.

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 10/28/2024 8:11:43 PMNo, you’re part of the problem for the wanting the game to force certain playstyles in even the most basic of activities at a time when engagement is declining. That same smug elitist attitude is what brought about the changes that made people leave and the studio get chopped, so you’re obviously wrong. Also maybe it’s just more fun to punch? So if I’m not having the fun I want, what’s the point? This isn’t a job or a chore, if it ain’t letting me do what I want without being a pain in the butt, it’s not worth it. If I want to just shoot I have other games that are better built for it.

You do realize you're just going in a circle, right? I never said someone couldn't run a melee build. I'm saying if you do, then don't expect to not have a mine explode under your feet when you know full well that it's going to happen. Or people could try to play different ways other than running the same setup for years on end. I mean, even just switching to a ranged melee would benefit a melee focused build more during that modifier. But to go and complain that they need to remove or change a whole modifier just because of someone's choice to not switch up their playstyle for just a little is the dumbest argument. It's part of the reason why bungie nerfs and buffs things every single major dlc. That way, people aren't stuck in the same build or roll for the rest of their lives.

Edited by jhermannITJ: 10/28/2024 8:05:33 PMYou can still punch, you just need to watch and listen... and play like famine in reverse... none of that should be looked at unless you absolutely need ammo. Make your own ammo. I bet special finisher overrides the bomb drops too. I would add .25-.5 secs to the wind up/fuse... that's all I would change. Never been an issue for me, I've never died from it... but I've taken some dmg here and there.

There's also a ranged melee for every subclass to use too. I've only died to the fake items when intentionally running over to a fake exotic while playing with friends to joke around and see if it's real knowing it's fake.

Yeah, it's not bad. You do need to play differently. And they're just testing it for the portal system, mostly optional later. Here's how I know for sure they're testing. Did you notice that the surges in Vanguard OPs are changing during the day? Every hour or every couple hours? They are. That's for getting as much relevant data as possible... IF we have Strand surge, how do threadlings interact with these bombs? All different things... And by changing the surges, they're collecting that data. Answering questions like that.

Yeah, and then the addition of banes, too. I'm surprised I haven't seen more complaints about banes yet. Especially seeing as how some of the ones in the game I don't remember them even mentioning that they would be in yet. I like the added thing of dealing with certain ones.

There's a wind up... visual and sound queues.
